It is designed for applications where you have community gate and a garage door both using LiftMaster, Sears or Chamberlain Remotes. What makes this unit different is that it has the ability to clone a LiftMaster 61LM, 361LM, or 811LM remote. Typically, these types of units are used for a community gate application.
The LiftMaster 892LT will work as a replacment for the following units:
